Erin Byrd directs the coaching and player development for Mission Volleyball Camps. Erin graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Business Administration and Finance and a Minor in French. She started all four years as an outside hitter, leading the team in digs. During her career, Wisconsin was back-to-back Big Ten Champions and finished second place in the NCAA Championships in 2000. She achieved Academic All-Conference and was a unanimous selection to the 2002 All-Conference Team. She is a Big Ten Medal of Honor Recipient, and NCAA All American. Erin trained with the U.S. National Team in Colorado Springs in 2004 and played professionally in Germany and Puerto Rico. She currently lives in San Diego and plays professional beach volleyball on the AVP and internationally. Recently, Erin and her teammate earned two 1st Place finishes for USA in the NORCECA Tour. Coach Byrd believe that players across the nation should learn beach volleyball because it is a great way to improve your indoor volleyball game as well as enjoy the game for lifetime.
